EGG-citing news!

This week, some new feathered friends joined the Kenilworth community.  Our six new friends are chickens who are the first residents of our Kenilworth Farm. The children have enjoyed visiting the chickens and our Nursery class were very lucky to find a freshly laid egg on their visit! These chickens will be supporting our learning and helping us to learn to be kind, caring and respectful to living animals. If you would like to name one of our chickens, we will be holding a naming competition after half term. We think you’ll agree this is hen-sational for our school…

Here are some of our favourite chicken puns to give you inspiration: What’s a chicken’s favourite subject to study? Egg-onomics. What might a chicken use to catch a sneeze? A hen-kerchief. What do you call a chicken from outer space? An egg-straterrestrial. What do you get if you cross a chicken with a ghost? A poultry-geist.
